A lot of the sites that provide user reviews for the 12ft Telescopic Fishing Rod and Reel seem a bit all over the place so I thought I would offer my opinion with an unbiased review. The FTD & Fladen fishing rod seemed pretty well made and sturdy. The rod is fully telescopic making it easy to fold down and take on travels. My only complaint is the bend the rod has under pressure. It does not feel like it has been produced to handle fish over say 5lbs. Costing £29.99 in July 2010 the fishing rod does have a strong selling point to travelling fishermen.
